Food is always excellent, whether we eat there or get it to go. Staff always friendly, helpful. Tried the veg beef soup for the 1st time, its really good. Usually get chili, its really good too. I cant think of anything i ever eaten there wasnt good. Never had a negative experience with Home Plate. I think they have reasonable prices too. I think they have a Sunday brunch buffet on Sundays.

Everything is home cooked and it is amazing! The fried chicken and fried fish were the best I have ever had. Highly recommend the buffet which runs Saturday evenings and all day Sunday. The prices are reasonable and service is excellent! Highly recommended!

Me & my wife live in New Albany Indiana. It is a nice drive through the countryside just to visit the Home Plate Restaurant. We do this fairly often, I am sure everything is great but we always get the catfish platter. It is the best we have ever had. Highly recommend this Restaurant. Thank You.
